Something is Missing
A photo essay reflecting on parts missing in relation to the body. By taking elements out something new is created. Sometimes it is obvious what is missing, and other times you have to look closely to see what is not there. The project was made in collaboration with graphic designer Julie Ellegaard during my exchange at Design Academy Eindhoven. It was developed loosely from the given theme: birth-wedding-death, and contemplates the feeling of missing something. It is not always the intense sudden feeling of something that has disappeared, but more the creeping sensation of things not being quite in order, without being able to put your finger on it. The concept development, photos, styling and layout was created in close collaboration between Julie and myself.
